The Thrill of Flying

One of the Reasons why I like traveling is the plane ride. Passing through the immigration and all the inspections are a huge hassle, but they're all worth it. The thought that your life depends on another person's hands, and mommah nature's wrath, the thrill of the moment of lifting off from the solid ground, suspended in air while you hear the roar of the engine as the plane speeds up, the annoying stewardess reminding you to buckle up as if you're gonna die --these are the few things that excite me when I ride the plane. The thing is, there are things better seen up there. It's not priceless to see the panorama of city lights at night. Truth is that it's expensive because you have to ride a plane or a chopper to do that. But it's more beautiful when you think that you could actually die while seeing them, that it could possibly be the last thing you're going to see. :) Food plane's a bonus (especially in Singapore Air). But really, it's the thrill I also get when taking rides in amusement parks that make me want to ride planes all the time. It's scary, but it's what makes it fun. The rumbling you hear when there's turbulence, they excite me but scare the hell out of me at the same time. And the clouds, they never fail to make me want to jump on them. And I have always been curious why aircraft windows shades have to be pulled up when landing, or why they should be closed when you cross timezone (aside from the possible glare from the sun). One day, I will try to open that and see the sky separated by darkness and light. Why haven't I done that yet? :|

Some of the Photos I took while on the plane:

Reblogging

And so I'm back to this old habit of mine: blogging. I know this is outdated, but I just have to. And i know Tumblr's another resort for blogging, but I don't want too much attention... =))) (feelingero)

why blog again?
It's a stress reliever and a lesser evil for wasting time (instead of tetris battle, in my opinion). Plus, second JTA semester's just around the corner. Better sharpen my writing skills again. Just preparing for the war (JC Uy and Fr. Dacanay combined). It's also my way of immortalizing thoughts, those that I would like to reminisce about and recall once in a while.

what will I be blogging about?
Photos from the past, the present and the future(?). Experiences, thoughts, emotions, expectations. Life. Everything. No limits, no exceptions. The random-er the merrier.

how often will I blog?
that, i do not know. hahaha.

soooooo... :)
